Eye on the District
Art & Design Exhibitions Gone Mobile
Eye on the District, an art + design exhibition, kicked off
Feb. 3 at the Hamptons South in Aventura. The event invites an interior
designer, an artist and a furniture brand to collaborate and design host
space. The Feb. 3 event featured FENDI Casa, artist Steve Martin,
interior designer Osirys Mendez and FENDI's in-house interior decorator,
Nicole Marcovici.
"The architecture of this particular interior at Hamptons South was
traditional and beautiful. Together with FENDI Casa furniture, it
created a juxtapose position, resulting in an upscale eclectic decor,"
said Mendez.
Guests mingled and enjoyed hors d'oeurves and cocktails as they learned
about the vast resources available within the Design District. The
exhibition will be an ongoing series held in various South Florida
condos. |
