Monotypes
Known as the most painterly method among the printmaking techniques,
monotypes are essentially printed paintings. The characteristic of
this method is that no two prints are alike, though images can be
similar. Martin has created six separate yet related series
consisting of more than 1,000 unique and original images. All of
Martin’s monotypes are created under the supervision of a master
printer and are named, signed, numbered and certified with a chop
mark and recorded in archival records.
