Vulnerable Spaces

“We wanted to feature the most represented artists of the gallery,” said owner Stefano Campanini. “These artists are established and highly respected.” Velez’s
Vulnerable Spaces oil and acrylic on canvas installation will be featured. Velez's work has been distinguished by highly simplified pictorial resources, austere shapes and a sober space. It is in his work where all the visual and conceptual elements achieve the highest expressive peak of all its orientation. Velez’s work does not refer to recognizable situations, nor is there any relationship with a real object or with scenes that are lived through. Radically separated from a given reality, they create an autonomous world that moves in a field created by the drawings themselves; it is to say, in an artistic field that creates another reality, which is no longer a mirror or reflection, but an entity with a life of its own.

  4-D Realism

Four Dimensional Realism: The Art of Simon Marinberg
will showcase its unique theoretical platform and how it allows us to re-evaluate some fundamental notions of art from a geometric point of view and bring a fresh idea to the unsolved disputes between traditionalists (neo-conservatives) and conceptualists (radicals, revisionists).

Fish Tale

Fish Tale
, by Debbie Carfagno, is a line drawing cut from aluminum and painted in oil. Carfagno balances abstraction and realism in a dialogue between exactitude and chance which is explored through her wall pieces and sculptures.
